We’re taking over the Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre in Toronto to bring together a network of young creators to collaborate on their craft and share knowledge. With a focus on emerging artists taking the next steps in their career, Emergence is a collection of forward-thinking workshops, discussions, and shared spaces to meet with fellow artists. There will be opportunities for theatre-makers of all levels of experience to learn and share their knowledge.

- Producing your own work
- Practice your elevator pitch
- Technical and design skills
- Directing-performing lab
- Playwrighting

If you cannot afford the ticket price, please contact youth@theatreontario.org to join us as a volunteer or ambassador in exchange for free entry.
Our 2017 goal is to empower youth as active decision makers in their own careers. We want to bring together as many young artists from different disciplines and backgrounds to share their voice about the future of theatre in Ontario. In this spirit, all our mentors are young artists or companies serving young artists.
