Over the past two months, we’ve been profiling the work of ArtsVote collectives in communities across Ontario as they work to have arts and culture as part of the election conversation. With Election Day coming up next Monday, here are resources available to inform you about candidates in many communities:
Burlington Candidate Surveys (download from Facebook group for Arts and Culture Collective of Burlington)
Guelph Candidate Responses and with a "weekend update"
Hamilton Candidate Surveys
Kawartha Lakes Candidate Surveys
Kingston Candidate Surveys
London Candidate Surveys
Niagara Candidate Report Cards
Ottawa Candidate Surveys (Mayor and Councillors in specific wards without incumbents)
Peterborough Candidate Forum Livestream
Thousands Islands Candidate Surveys (covers Brockville, Prescott, Augusta, Elizabethtown-Kitley) (not published at press time, but check the link for updates)
Toronto Candidate Report Cards
Windsor and Region Candidate Surveys (covers Amherstburg, Essex, Kingsville, Lakeshore, Lasalle, Leamington, Tecumseh, Windsor)
We’ve reached out to numerous other communities, and we’ll update this post throughout this week if new resources are brought to our attention.
(Updates since original publication include Guelph and Hamilton)
