- 4th Line Theatre in Millbrook invites applications for their OAC Theatre Creators Reserve. Funding priority is for regional playwriting projects; secondary priority is projects that align with its artistic mandate: to preserve our Canadian cultural heritage through the development and presentation of regionally-based, environmentally-staged historical dramas. Deadline is January 10.
- Hamilton Arts Council invites submissions from Hamilton-area artists for Market Value, aiming to build awareness of the value of artist labour by demonstrating creative work in the Hamilton Farmers’ Market. Over six days, artists practicing in various disciplines will work in a visible location that will draw attention to the time artists dedicate to creating art – often invisibly and without compensation. Submission deadline is December 18.
