Announcing Our Festival Adjudicator's Workshop

Theatre Ontario is pleased to announce our Adjudicator’s Workshop for the 2011 Theatre Ontario Festival.  Adjudicator Jane Carnwath will lead a workshop on “Directing: Working With Actors” on Thursday, May 19 at 2pm at The Curtain Club in Richmond Hill.

Jane’s workshop will cover:

• How to convey your vision, how to listen to theirs
• How to determine what each actor needs from you to achieve his/her potential in the role
• What to do when the moment isn't working
• What’s he really asking? – decoding actor anxiety, etc.
• Dealing with resistance, actors who’d rather talk than do, other interpersonal challenges

The workshop is free for Festival attendees.
