Two Days to Celebrate Theatre in Ontario and Across the World

World Theatre Day is coming up on March 27… and the World Day of Theatre for Children and Young People is tomorrow, March 20.

How can you celebrate?

The Professional Association of Canadian Theatres, l’Association des theatres francophones du Canada, and the Playwrights Guild of Canada have commissioned a Canadian message by Mieko Ouchi and translated by Mishka Lavigne

Similarly, a Canadian message was written for the World Day of Theatre for Children and Young People by Allen MacInnis, Artistic Director of Young People’s Theatre in Toronto.

There is also going to be an Edit-a-Thon for the Canadian Theatre Wiki by SpiderWebShow – join online at 12pm to 4pm EST, 11am to 3pm CST and help celebrate the multiplicity of voices Canadian theatre has to offer.
