- Don Cherry, who lectures hockey players about how to celebrate their victories, showed up at Rob Ford’s inauguration as Mayor of Toronto and proceed to hot-dog all over the ice; Ruth Madoc-Jones wrote to him as “an avid hockey fan and as an artist”
- The new Barrie theatre is over-budget, under-funded, and unfinished; but the one in Kenora seems to be making some progress
- Francophone theatre in Ontario is outside of our mandate (Théatre Action est ici) but I think Lisa L’Hereux’s “identity crisis” can speak to all of us and our plurality of identities
- Chad Bauman hates comp tickets; Gwydion Suilebhan is very grateful for them (I think I'm Team Gwydion)
- Why do poets get to have all the fun? Americans wonder if they should have a Playwright Laureate; should we?
