- The people who hand out the Wasserstein Prize in the U.S. decided that this year there were no outstanding plays by emerging female writers; as you might expect, there was some disagreement and a modest proposal
- Playwrights Canada Press launches A Foster Christmas (an anthology of Norm Foster’s Christmas plays) on November 20 at TheatreBooks, with “holiday treats and a fireside reading”
